Message	search is your friend.....but to put it lightly you can do it without taking out the engine but by the time your done you could have pulled the engine, swapped turbos, put engine back in had a good nights sleep wake up and start on another car (maybe even finish a second one) depending on how bad the bolts may be seized on from age...but if you have no tools to pull the engine and you feel you can suceed without pulling the engine, do a search and it IS possible.
